Eating at Red Lobster

A few weeks ago, I went to Red Lobster for the first time with my family. The atmosphere was really nice and the waiter was friendly but their food wasn’t really all that amazing.

First, the waiter got our order and my family and I ordered the Lobster Pizza, the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, and stuffed mushrooms. I don’t remember what my parents ordered, but I’m pretty sure there was shrimp in it. Anyway, the only thing that was super good was the appetizers, the biscuits. Their biscuits are so good. Its texture is so fluffy and when I bit into it, it was like heaven in my mouth.

The stuffed mushrooms also go well with the biscuits because it balances out the saltiness of the biscuits.

Look at those biscuits! Don’t they look delicious?! Honestly, these biscuits were the best things from Red Lobster. After I ate the biscuits I ate salad, which was okay. It was just like any normal salad with Thousand Island dressing on it. Afterwards, we waited for our food. I thought the wait time was okay, compared to Black Angus because Black Angus’ wait time is close to around 30 minutes.

When our food finally arrived, I was really excited to try the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo.

The Fettuccine Alfredo was actually really good! The sauce was so creamy and it’s presentation was exquisite. I also enjoyed the chicken that went with it. The chicken was well cooked and it went well with the pasta. The reason why I really liked Red Lobster’s Fettuccine Alfredo was because I love Macaroni & Cheese and Fettuccine Alfredo already, and I’m not really a picky eater. So maybe to other people, the Fettuccine Alfredo would be okay for them, but I really liked it.

         The next thing I ate was the Lobster Pizza, and I was quite disappointed.

When I took a bite into the Lobster Pizza, the lobster felt wrong. It didn’t taste like lobster at all, it seemed “fake.” Also, the inside of the “lobster” looked like chicken! What? The pizza crust was really thin and hard, it was difficult to chew it. Overall, the pizza had a weird taste to it and it wasn’t easy to eat the crust. However, the day after, I gave it another chance, and it turned out tasting good after I microwaved it. It’s kind of weird how some foods taste better after a day..

After I finished my main course, I ate more biscuits and watched a football game on the tv, waiting for my ice cream cookie dessert.

As soon as the dessert came, I quickly grabbed my spoon and dug into it. The cookie was so warm and delicious and its combination with the ice cream was even better. I loved how the ice cream balances out the warmness of the cookie. The dessert was sweet and I really enjoyed it.

Red Lobster has amazing biscuits and their employees are super nice. I would recommend the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and the ice cream cookie dessert. I enjoyed my meal at Red Lobster and it was nice spending time with my family. I just wish I brought more of those biscuits home…
